Travis Donoghue

General Manager – Waitomo

Joining thl in October 2017, Travis leads the Discover Waitomo Group which is made up of the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, Aranui Cave, Ruakuri Cave, the Legendary Black Water Rafting Company and Waitomo Homestead. Travis has worked with several iconic tourism experiences in both New Zealand and Australia including remote and logistically complex destinations which have a focus on the natural environment. Prior to joining thl Travis was Business Manager for Guided Walks New Zealand which operates day and multi day walks in Fiordland and the Southern Lakes region. Travis is currently studying Applied Management specializing in Project Management.

Ollie Farnsworth

General Manager - Marketing and Revenue Management

Joining thl in October 2017, Ollie is responsible for group marketing, revenue management, data analytics, and customer experience development. Ollie recently returned to New Zealand after 7 years abroad, where he led the consulting offices of creative network iris Worldwide in Shanghai and Atlanta, and worked extensively across regions with industry leaders like InterContinental Hotels Group and Shell. He previously held various positions with Deloitte Consulting. Ollie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland.

Steven Hall

General Manager - Finance

Joining thl in February 2015, Steve is responsible for leading the group finance functions, including treasury, internal audit, management and statutory reporting, as well as the broader financial accountability for the New Zealand and Australian operating businesses. He was appointed to the position of General Manager Finance in November 2018. His previous experience includes 5 years of group consolidation and external reporting in the banking industry at Westpac New Zealand and HSBC Group in London, and 5 years of external audit experience at Deloitte.

Steve is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, and holds a Bachelor of Management Studies with Honours, and Graduate Diploma in Statistics from the University of Waikato.

Matt Harvey

General Manager - New Zealand Operations

Matt joined the New Zealand Operations team as General Manager in June 2018. He started with thl in April 2010 as Commercial Operations Manager and progressed through to the role of National Operation Manager for NZ Rentals in January 2012. In August 2013 Matt moved across to Melbourne and led the Australian Operations team. Matt was Vice President of El Monte RV from July 2017 prior to returning to New Zealand. Matt’s background includes a number of operation management roles within the SKYCITY Group in New Zealand and financial analyst roles within the Gaming industry in London. Matt holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Auckland University.

Gordon Hewston

Vice President - El Monte RV

Gordon took up the leadership role of the El Monte RV business in June 2018.  Joining thl in May 2012, Gordon led the Discover Waitomo Group until June 2016 when he undertook the leadership of the New Zealand Rentals and Vehicle Sales business. Gordon’s background includes senior roles in conservation and heritage tourism with the UK’s National Trust and Heritage New Zealand, Pouhere Taonga. Gordon holds an MBA and a masters degree in Environmental Science from the University of Nottingham.

Tim Loxton

General Manager - Kiwi Experience

Joining thl in October 2018, Tim heads up Kiwi Experience, New Zealand’s premier youth touring network. Tim brings extensive travel industry experience to the role holding a number of senior positions within the Flight Centre Travel Group. He has worked across a range of travel brands including Flight Centre, Escape Travel, Cruiseabout, My Adventure Travel and most recently Student Flights. Tim moved from Australia to New Zealand to help Kiwi Experience deliver amazing experiences for young people from around the world and to do it in an environmentally sustainable way. Tim holds Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Sydney.

Kate Meldrum

General Manager - Australian Operations

Kate started as General Manager of Australian Operations in July 2017. She joined thl in 1991 in the Sales and Marketing team as Account Manager for North America. She left in 1996 and held several part-time and contract marketing roles whilst raising a family before re-joining the company again in 2003 as Sales & Marketing Manager for New Zealand. Kate joined the executive team in November 2009 as General Manager Marketing & Customer Experience and in April 2014 assumed responsibility for Group Revenue for the self-drive experience businesses, and overall responsibility for marketing and sales channels. Kate holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business from Auckland University.

Brett Morris

General Manager – People

Brett joined thl in October 2015 and he and his team are responsible for supporting thl in all its global human resources activities. Brett is an experienced HR professional and has worked in diverse businesses such as technology, aviation, corporate services and the manufacturing sector. He has held senior HR roles over the last 12 years, leading teams within Carter Holt Harvey, Air New Zealand and Orion Health on both a regional and/or global scale. Prior to moving into human resources, Brett also had experience in a number of other business disciplines including sales, marketing and information technology.

Hannes Rosskopf

General Manager - USA Operations & President

Joining Road Bear RV in January 2013 as Chief Operating Officer, Hannes assumed the full responsibility for the motorhome rental and sales business in the USA in January 2015. Hannes has extensive experience in executive leadership roles in the USA, Europe and the Middle East in the financial services, supply management, consulting and manufacturing industries. Hannes holds a Master of Economics and Computer Science degree from the University of Zurich.

Mark Taylor

General Manager - Information Technology

Joining thl in August 2016, Mark has over 20 years’ experience in IT Management across the UK and Australia for both large corporates and SME’s. Mark is responsible for the IT Infrastructure for thl globally, including Cloud Strategy, Procurement, Telecommunications, Software, and Quality Management. Cyber Security and Data Privacy are also key focus areas and responsibilities within thl as data becomes the most valuable asset. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing with Technology from the UK.

Saskia Verraes

General Manager - Responsible Management

Saskia started as General Manager Responsible Management in 2017, leading sustainability, responsibility, ethics and governance of key strategic projects.
Saskia has been a passionate internal champion and driver of change with sustainability for several years, as well as being the Programme Manager and PMO Lead delivering over 140 projects and programs across the thl group since 2006.
Saskia completed the LEAD Corporate Innovation certificate at Stanford Graduate School of Business in March 2016. She also holds a masters degree in Public and Business Administration from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam the Netherlands, which included a semester at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs in Bloomington, Indiana. In her free time Saskia runs a social enterprise to accelerate global charitable impact.

Grant Brady

Managing Director - Action Manufacturing LP

After a successful career in the construction industry in New Zealand, Australia and the USA Grant co-founded KEA Campers in 1995. As the primary shareholder within the KEA Group, Grant maintained 100% ownership of KEA Manufacturing and supplied product to KEA New Zealand, KEA Australia and KEA South Africa. Grant is Managing Director of thl's vehicle manufacturing joint venture, Action Manufacturing LP of which he owns 50%. In addition to these responsibilities Grant also previously led the vehicle sales business for thl in New Zealand with a particular focus on the RV Super Centre based in Albany, Auckland.

Nick Roach

Managing Director - Just go UK

Joining thl in 2015, Nick brings a wealth of motorhome and tourism experience to the company. Having worked for Xerox and Ericsson in both New Zealand and the UK, Nick then moved in to tourism, managing resorts in Austria, Greece and Corsica. Nick started Just go motorhomes in 2003 and remains a passionate Managing Director. Just go operates the largest fleet of motorhomes for hire in the UK and aims to provide clients with a great beginning to end holiday experience. Nick’s flair for travel continually inspires new ideas and his love of technology helps to keep our motorhomes at the very forefront of the industry. If he gets a spare minute, Nick loves cycling and also has a keen interest in sailing, having competed in the Fastnet yacht race in 2013.

Daniel Schneider

Director – Road Bear RV Rentals & Sales

Following the acquisition of Los Angeles based Road Bear RV, of which Daniel was one of the vendors, Daniel joined thl on 31st December 2010 as CEO & President. Returning to Switzerland in January 2015, Daniel now acts in the capacity of Director to the USA Operations and consultant to thl group. A Swiss and US citizen, Daniel has over 25 year’s experience in the USA rental RV industry with expertise in sales, operations, product design and business general management/ownership. Daniel holds a Bachelor degree in Automotive Engineering from Biel Switzerland.

Keith Chilek

CEO - Cosmos

​ Joining thl in August 2014, Keith is responsible for the technology direction, product development and creating a best in class online user experience for thl customers. Keith spent the previous 12 years in the USA building consumer facing products in the education space, holding various positions ranging from Co-founding partner to Senior Vice President of Engineering. Keith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Information and Operations Management from Texas A&M University.​

Dave Simmons

CEO - Togo and Mighway

Dave joined thl in July 2015 as Chief Operating Officer – New Business Development. This role sees Dave leading the development of Mighway – thl's new global peer-to-peer travel services proposition. Prior to joining thl, Dave held senior leadership roles with Air New Zealand and Les Mills International. He spent 14 years offshore, working in the travel and tourism industry for both large corporates and entrepreneurial start-ups. Dave holds a Masters of Commerce from Otago University.
