Joining THL in 1998 as a driver for Kiwi Experience, Shelley has since held a number of sales, marketing and general management roles within the company. These roles have spanned across the backpacker sector; coach charter sector and attractions sector which have been based at various times within NZ, Australia and Fiji. She currently leads and manages the THL business units within Waitomo, including Waitomo Glow Worm Cave, Ruakuri Cave, Aranui Cave and Black Water Rafting. Heinz Schauer
Director of Continental Europe
Based in Munich, Germany, Heinz and his small sales team maintain close and regular contact with agents/wholesalers in Continental Europe (except The Netherlands and Nordic States), in Eastern Europe and the Middle East. His focus is on capitalising on Europeans' vision of New Zealand and Australia as dream destinations to encourage them to visit.
Stephen Hart
Sales Manager UK/ Europe
Stephen manages the thl London team’s sales activities in the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia, The Netherlands, Belgium and France. He and his team work with a large number of wholesale and retail agents throughout these markets in promoting the company’s travel brands. Stephen began his career with thl in the customer services team in Auckland in 1995 while studying. Since then, he has held various marketing roles with Tourism New Zealand in both Frankfurt and London and more recently as Sales and Marketing Director for tour operator Camperboerse, part of the REWE Touristik group.
